At Aero-Sphere, we believe in sharing the enthusiasm of flying with those that we love. Recently, Rick, one of our trainees, shared with us how he was able to spread his passion for flying with a little one-on-one flight training. Rick has been flying for over 10 years and chose Aero-Sphere as his go to flight school for his recurrent Colorado flight training.
Some days are just meant for flying
It was a beautiful Summer morning, hot with temperatures reaching up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The skies were clear and blue; perfect for your first-time flying. Josie, Rick’s wife, had agreed to go up with Rick for her first ever flight in a GA plane, a N738HD that’s part of our fleet. “She admitted she was a little nervous, but she was going” said Rick.
First-timers one-on-one flight training
Being that this was Josie’s first time controlling the aircraft, Rick made sure to ease her in. He planned a very easy flight path that would be the right introduction into flight training. The flight path would follow the western foothills North to Ft.Collins. From there it would lead them to Greeley and back to Longmont. Flying in areas North of Boulder, like Longmont will provide you with great views and less traffic – ideal for a first-time flyer!
Feeling confident in the air
Under the one-on-one flight training of Rick, Josie was able to conquer her nerves and feel more confident in the air. Feeling good in the air, is what Aero-Sphere is all about! Since her first flight, Josie has decided on taking Aero-Sphere’s Pinch Hitter Course. This course is given to non-pilots to help pilots fly the place in the event that the pilot becomes sick or unable to fly the plane. Congratulations, Josie on getting out in the air! We look forward to seeing you at one-on-one training in our Colorado flight school.
